I am a big believer in the power of good apps.

I have been running daily since last summer. Using Strava has helped me find my community of people, make new friends, and improve myself in ways I otherwise never would have. I recommend every runner try Strava.

And I have 5 specific reasons why:

  • #1: Know when you need to replace shoes.
  • #2: Give and get kudos for exercise.
  • #3: Track your mileage and effort.
  • #4: Track and strive for PRs.
  • #5: It’s free!

If you start using Strava, let me know — I’d love to connect with you and cheer you on!

We don’t just learn lessons once, unfortunately.

Most lessons need re-learning, 5, 10 or 100+ times.

Example lessons you might be re-learning:

  1. Staying up late on your phone while planning to wake up early.
  2. Working without a written process while wanting to delegate.
  3. Chasing the latest shiny app while wanting to be productive.
  4. Checking work email at night while wanting to get to sleep.
  5. Spending without a plan while wanting to pay down debt.
  6. Buying junk food / takeout while wanting to lose weight.
  7. Writing goals without a controllable lead measure.

How many times do you need to learn the lesson?

What can you do to reduce that number?
